Once again this year, securities companies, CII and pension funds management companies, venture capital companies and banks have met to discuss, together with supervisors and regulators, the situation of the collective investment sector and the impact of the operational, statutory and market changes.
The implications of MiFID II in investment product marketing companies, the effect of UCITS V on management companies and depositaries, the new Regulation of the VIP Act, the implications of the EMIR changes including secondary market derivatives in securities clearing and the reform of the Spanish securities clearing, settlement and registry system prior to the incorporation of the Spanish market into Target 2 Securities were some of the most important issues discussed.
I would like to thank the more than 130 companies that have taken part in this conference for their interest and participation. I would also like to take advantage of this occasion to extend an invitation to you all to the 2017 conference, where we will be able to analyse the real impact of all the changes that we have discussed this year.

The III Conference Securities Services: "From the Securities Market Reform to T2S, held on 14 April at the Madrid Stock Exchange, provided a forum for the exchange of experiences, with discussion and analysis of all the recent developments related to the post-trading process of the various markets and how these are being affected by operational, statutory and market changes.
It is a unique forum which brought together representatives of national and European regulatory bodies, securities companies, CII and pension funds management companies, banks and venture capital companies.
