The Liquidity Contingency Committee

The Liquidity Contingency Committee evaluates possible liquidity crisis si-

tuations, decides whether the contingency plan should be activated in the

light of the quantitative and qualitative indicators and, where relevant, it

classifies the degree of intensity of the crisis. It evaluates the specific reason

behind the crisis situation and assesses its possible duration and the serious-

ness of the liquidity problem. It defines a strategy to manage the situation,

signalling which relevant departments will be involved. It coordinates the di-

visions involved in executing the plan and makes the necessary adjustments

to it to bring it in line with the market situation.

The Liquidity Contingency Committee met on eight occasions in 2016

Compliance and Operational

Risk Committee

This committee’s task is to promote the implementation of the company’s

compliance risk control. It also analyses the information which it receives

from the Operational Risk Unit about the management of operational risk

and provides procedures and systems for transferring risk (insurance, gua-

rantees, outsourcing, and others) in order to mitigate latent operational risks.
