Development of corporate leadership
Once the DEDICA programme is concluded (Quality Management Develop-
ment), which will ensure our company’s new business model is adapted to di-
rectives and confront the challenges currently posed by the financial market,
the DEDICA2 programme, developed throughout 2016, will be implemented.
The aim of this programme is to consolidate the change management star-
ted in DEDICA in terms of implementing a cultural shift in the company.
Work has been carried out across different lines and groups of professionals:
Steering Committee: through an individual coaching plan and subject
talks, there has been a focus on individual development in the skills re-
quired to work towards Senior Management leadership becoming in-
creasingly effective as a lever to meet the Strategic Plan objectives and
the company’s change process.
Management Team: workshops have been delivered, developed along the
lines of two key themes: business development, and staff assessment.
DEDICA for experts. In order to secure the success of Cecabank’s change
process a programme has been put in place for experts, in the profession-
al skills relevant to them in the field of leadership.

External talent
As regards external talent, Cecabank continued to follow the policy of in-
ternships through educational cooperation agreements with the most im-
portant universities and business centres in Madrid, in order to attract the
best candidates.
