- The European publication Global Banking and Finance Review presents the institution with the award for best custodian bank
With a volume of over 140 billion euros in assets in custody in May 2019, Cecabank was named the nation's best custodian bank for the third consecutive year. The award represents a new acknowledgement of the bank's leadership in depositary activities and of its prominent position in Spain's post-trading arena.
The magazine Global Banking and Finance Review is responsible for granting this award based on nominations proposed by its subscribers. The aspects taken into account by the publication when selecting the winner range from improvements in innovation to achievements and significant progress on a corporate level of each of the selected entities.
