MADRID, 28 APRIL 2023.- Cecabank has received the "Socially Responsible Company (SRC) with its staff" seal from Fundación Alares and Fundación Diversidad. Both institutions have positively valued its efforts in the development of human resources policies and the availability of assistance services that favour the work-life balance of its professionals, thanks to its "ckb contigo" programme, a personal assistance service for Cecabank professionals, and the range of advantageous working conditions that the bank makes available to its staff.

The SRC seal guarantees excellence in the fields of work-life balance, well-being and corporate social responsibility of companies in Spain. In awarding it, a committee led by Mar Aguilera, Director of Fundación Alares, measured Cecabank's social impact, its work-life balance measures, as well as its flexibility and sustainability policies, among other criteria.

Cecabank is aware of the social, economic and environmental impact it generates in its area of influence and that drives its productivity based on ethical and moral quality standards. It is committed to bringing about positive change internally and externally and in this regard, it has been working for several years to promote the well-being of its staff through environmentally, ethically, labour and socially responsible measures.

"One of the lines of action defined in our Sustainability Plan is the commitment to talent. At Cecabank, we consider human capital as the differential value of the bank: diverse, committed and specialised. We are very conscious that their well-being is reflected in their commitment to the bank", explains Verónica Antolínez, Director of Talent, Culture and General Services at Cecabank. "This SRC seal is further recognition of Cecabank's excellence in the field of corporate social responsibility and the creation of value with our Crece+ Plan, which aims to promote work-life balance, as well as the management of diversity, time and flexibility", she added.

In total, more than 70 companies have received this distinction launched by the Fundación Alares. This distinction allows organisations to position themselves as the best places to work in Spain, based on their human resources policies and the availability of assistance services for all employees and their families, favouring work-life balance, equal opportunities, the correct management of diversity and non-discrimination.
