On 22 June at 9.30 a.m., the Spanish Fintech and Insurtech Association (AEFI - Asociación Española de Fintech e Insurtech) will present the RegTech White Paper, in collaboration with Cuatrecasas and with the sponsorship of Cecabank. This White Paper provides an overview of the current state of the RegTech ecosystem in Spain, as well as the challenges and opportunities that the sector faces, with a particular focus on the acceleration of business digitalisation, which has been boosted by the Covid-19 health crisis, and the proliferation of regulations affecting the sector in recent years.
The event is part of Ck-Lab, a Cecabank initiative committed to becoming a digital forum open to banks and FinTechs with the aim of creating and promoting collaboration platforms around payments, investment services, Big Data and other aspects proposed by the stakeholders. What is the origin of the RegTech sector? What is the current state of play? What is the regulatory framework governing it? These are some of the questions that this document will answer. This White Paper, prepared by our collaborator Cuatrecasas and sponsored by Cecabank, has also received input from members of AEFI's RegTech and Onboarding Digital verticals.
